List of Chemical Substances Subject to Priority Management under K-REACH
Under K-REACH, “Priority Management Substances” refer to substances that fall under any of the following categories, pose hazards, and have been designated and announced after deliberation:
1. Substances that may cause cancer, mutations, reproductive abnormalities, or endocrine disruption in humans or animals, or pose such risks.
2. Substances with high bioaccumulation in humans, animals, or plants and long-term persistence in the environment.
3. Substances that may cause damage to organs such as the lungs, liver, or kidneys upon human exposure.
4. Substances posing hazards to humans or animals equivalent to or exceeding those of the above three categories.
- The content of each priority management substance in the product exceeds 0.1%.
- The total annual quantity of all priority management substances in the product exceeds 1 ton.
Note: If the contained priority management substances have already been registered under K-REACH, the above product declaration requirement is exempted.
