List of Priority Management Chemicals under OSHA
(1) Chemicals hazardous to person under the age of 18, or pregnant women, or female employees within their first postpartum year:13 types of 96 chemicals, including mixtures that contain more than 1% of the chemical by weight;
(2) Chemicals classified as CMR or those causing chronic or local effects (i.e., CMR, Cat 1&2; Respiratory sensitization, Cat 1; Serious eye damage/eye irritation, Cat 1; and Specific target organ systemic toxicity-repeated exposure, Cat 1): 889 chemicals, if meeting the 1% concentration limit and the annual aggregate quantity of any operating activity specified in Appendix 2 of the Regulations; and
(3) Chemicals with physical hazards or acute health hazards: 163 chemicals, if meeting the determination criteria stipulated in Article 6 and Appendix 3 of the Regulations.
1. Industrial waste.
2. Tobacco or tobacco products.
3. Food, beverages, medicines, and cosmetics.
4. Manufactured goods.
5. General consumer goods for non-industrial purposes.
6. Fire extinguishers.
7. Intermediates undergoing chemical reactions in reaction tanks or processes.
8. Other items designated and announced by the central competent authority.
