Restriction List under EU REACH

The "Restriction List" is a list of substances included in Annex XVII of the EU REACH regulation, used to restrict or prohibit the production, placement on the market, and use of certain substances, aiming to protect human health and the environment from potential harmful chemicals. Instead of a total ban, it typically targets specific applications, concentration limits, or consumer product categories

Substances listed in the Restriction List, whether as such, in mixtures, or in articles, must meet the corresponding restrictions(e.g., concentration <0.1% or banned in certain consumer goods); otherwise, the relevant products cannot be manufactured, used, or placed on the market.
