The REACH Registered Substance List was originally a list of substances that had completed effective registration as required by the REACH regulations issued by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This list includes information such as the name of the registered substance, CAS number, EC number, registration status, registration type, and submission type, and can be used as a basis for determining whether a chemical is an EU managed substance.
Notice: With the full implementation of the new database ECHA CHEM in the EU in 2024, since May 19, 2023, the "REACH Registered Substance List" has no longer been updated. All the latest and most accurate data regarding registered substances must be queried and confirmed through the ECHA CHEM database.
Compliance Obligations
When listed in the REACH Registered Substance List, businesses may be subject to the following obligations:
1. Joint registration: Registration data for this substance has already been submitted and the registration completed. If you plan to place it on the EU market, please contact the lead registrant to negotiate data sharing and participate in a joint registration.
2. Downstream Communication and Additional Obligations:
for registered substances with annual volumes exceeding 10 tonnes, registrants must communicate an extended Safety Data Sheet (eSDS) to downstream users where applicable conditions are met.
Certain substances are further subject to additional obligations, including evaluation, notification, authorization, or restriction procedures.
3. CLP Regulation Compliance: All substances and mixtures must fully comply with the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation prior to being placed on the market.
Not listed (whether on their own, in mixtures, or intended to be released from articles), and which are also confirmed as unregistered based on the latest ECHA CHEM data, it may require submission of a registration dossier to the ECHA as a lead registrant if manufactured in or imported into the EU in quantities of one tonne or more per year.
