National Inventory of Industrial Chemical Substances of Chile

The Chile National Chemical Inventoryt is established and published by the Ministry of Health under Decree No. 57/2019 (Regulations on the Classification, Labelling, and Notification of Hazardous Substances and Mixtures).
Based on substance notified from 2024–2025, the Ministry has currently released:
• Batch 1: List of Hazardous Chemicals for Industrial Use.
• Batch 2: List of Hazardous Chemicals for Non-Industrial Use.
Upcoming registration periods for mixtures are scheduled as follows:
• Batch 3 (List of Hazardous Mixtures for Industrial Use): Registration opens on February 9, 2027, and closes on August 30, 2027.
• Batch 4 (List of Hazardous Mixtures for Non-Industrial Use): Registration opens on February 9, 2029, and closes on August 30, 2029.

For listed substances, businesses should comply with GHS Classification and Labeling. If a substance is prioritized and exceeds the 1-tonne threshold, it is required to submit a Risk Assessment Report.

Unlisted substances shall be considered "new substances" and shall be notified prior to commercialization, importation or manufacture when exceeding 1 t/yr.
